Finest quality David Christensen glass beads are complemented with a centre piece Murano glass 'Tiger' print bead and sterling silver beads. The beads are strung on silver wire and fastened with a spring clasp. (Necklace approx 43cm long).

World renowned artist David Christensen has been working with glass for over 18 years and perfected the technique of hand blowing glass to create of a clear finish with beautiful shining clarity. Each necklace consists of beads that are a variety of shapes, styles and colours making each piece unique so may vary from the necklace pictured.
The Murano centre piece bead is made in Venice where the tradition of glass production is steeped in over 1,000 years of history. In 1291 the Venetian government moved the glass makers out of the city to the small island of Murano because of fire hazards associated with the glass making industry. Today Murano Glass is world renowned for it's quality and form. The tradition of the Maestri Vetrai which has been handed down from father to son is still jealously preserved by the Venetian government and appreciated the world over.
